Just a little over one year ago, eLL. & myself set out to create a blog dedicated to showing the word that hip hop isn’t dead; that there are albums made years ago, yet to be discovered, and that fresh, new artists are sticking true to the hip hop foundation. And in that year, we gained several fans and earned several views. We got to interview very interesting hip hop artists who had some cool things to say. We got to talk to various rappers and producers and even gain a fanbase. Although this is only our first year, we would like to thank everybody for their support and hope that y’all can spread the word of The Hip Hop Speakeasy and help keep hip hop alive. Thanks, and peace.

Thought up by two hip-hop fans, The Hip Hop Speakeasy was started for a sole purpose: to spread the word of good, underground hip-hop music.
