Mello Music Group rapper yU dropped his album The Earn today. yU comes from hip hop group Diamond District, and in recent years, has pursued a successful solo career. With this album, yU has given listeners a look into his thoughts and concerns. From political to personal, yU spills it all out with his pen. His flow is smooth and heart-felt; he’s comparable to the likings of Blu. He’s got a nice, fresh underground hip hop sound, rappin over soulful and jazzy beats, and this album is definitely one for the books. So, my rating…
