Indie Rap powerhouse, Rhymesayers Entertainment is gearing up for a pretty huge summer. Last month I Self Divine dropped his The Sound Of Low Class Amerika album after dropping three free EPs. His latest LP is politically charged and features production from the likes of Jake One, Vitamin D and more. Check out the lead single below, and get a free download of the song HERE.

Last weekend was also the annual Soundset Music Festival in Minnesota, and yet again I missed it (I will make it one year). Brother Alihosted and the line-up was crazy:

Atmosphere, Lupe Fiasco, Ghostface Killah & Raekwon, Kendrick Lamar, Aesop Rock with Rob Sonic & DJ Big Wiz, P.O.S, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Danny Brown, Big K.R.I.T, Evidence, Prof with DJ Fundo, Action Bronson, DJ Premier, I Self Devine, Astronautalis, Bambu, J-Zone (DJ set), and others.

While June looks to be a little quiet for RSE, starting in July the label will be releasing one huge album release each month starting on July 10 with Aesop Rock’s first post-Def Jux LP (and first solo album in 5 years), Skelethon. Check out Aesop’s video for lead single below, and enjoy a free dowload of the track as well, HERE.

And then in August, Brother Ali will release his long-awaited album, Mourning in America and Dreaming in Color. The album will be Ali’s first without production from Ant (of Atmosphere), and the production will be handled solely by Seattle beatsmith Jake One. If lead single “Writer’s Block,” the Valentine’s Day mixtape he released, and new single “Not a Day Goes By” (download HERE) are any indication this should be another great release from the good brother.

Last, and certainly not least, P.O.S. will be releasing the follow up to his magnificent 2009 album Never Better, in September. The album will be titled, We Don’t Even Live Here and will drop right before the end of the summer on September 18.
