Jay-Electronica-boonaroo

Arguably more mysterious of a hip hop artist than MF DOOM, Jay Electronica has been causing quite a stir these past few years with his dope singles and releases, all leading up to the highly-anticipated debut on Jay-Z‘s Roc Nation. Act II: Patents of Nobility (The Turn) has been a work in progress since 2010 and boasts such singles as “Exhibit A (Transformations)” and the more popular, “Exhibit C,” both produced by Just Blaze. Fans have been anxiously awaiting Jay to drop this album that fans speculate will be an instant classic. Last year, we posted a little update that showed the master rhymer was working on Act II, 3 years after the release of Act I: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge). Also last year, Jay stated the album was completed and this year he tweeted that he had handed it in to Roc Nation. With years of waiting, it finally appears that the release of Jay Electronica’s debut album may not be too far away. To up the hype even more, today via Twitter, Jay himself tweeted a picture of the tracklisting for the album. Although we cannot see the production side of the album, we can see the features and people, this album looks like it is going to be quite the record.
