Quirky and exceptionally different rhymesayer DOUG released this project a while back, but I still love it to this very day. AL’s Tape features a plethora of some abstract, out there, productions. Eclectic in sound and anything but structured, DOUG goes his own way when it comes to making music. And he does make the music; he produces all of the beats and writes and records all of the rhymes by himself. So when you hear AL’s Tape, you are hearing unadulterated DOUG in all of his fine, quirky ways. Also, if you love the beats as much as I do, you’ll be glad to know that the project comes with a side of instrumentals from the project, so dig in!
