Introducing himself to the world, LOTenI (pron. Low-ten-ee) spits some Quick Verses over a number of mellow instrumentals from Ski Beatz to DJ Honda. LO’s definitely got a nice taste in beats, but it’s what he does with them that is important. Although the quailty may lack, LO can rhyme and, more importantly, rhyme intelligently. Staying on a conscious tip, LO keeps it real by rapping about trying to be successful, overcoming struggles and other personal topics. For a few Quick Verses, this mixtape certainly serves its purpose to introduce hip hop to the new, upcoming emcee, LOTenI.
