Staten Island’s own Maxx 39 released his solo project XXXIX EP revealing his lifestyle through technical bars and sharp flows. With borrowed production from a variety of notable producers, especially Nujabes, Maxx 39 chose an old school style to work as his platform on this album. A somber delivery style bodes a very personal set of lyrics and accurately coinsides with the chosen production style. As a very consistent project, Maxx 39’s XXXIX EP stands as a snapshot of this young rappers lifestyle framed in the context of an old school hip hop themed EP. From hardcore to smooth jazz hip hop fans, many listeners can find enjoyment within the tracks on XXXIX EP.
