Hir-O, the producer recently known for producing fellow Detroit rapper Red Pill‘s acclaimed album The Kick, is now prepping the release of his sophomore instrumental project, Emissary to be released March 2nd through Mellow Orange. Hir-O’s new track “Return To Risa” is doused in electronica drippings and features an excitable energy that finds its equilibrium in bouncy rhythms and punching drums. At about a quarter of the way through the track, the backdrop transitions and switches to something entirely new, giving “Return To Risa” an powerful charge-up that carries the song through to the end.
