Everybody… you need to listen up. I know I’ve said a few times “this album is for those who like old school New York hip hop” but THIS is IT. If you want a record with Mobb Deep mashed with Gang Starr mashed with Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth, all with a modern sound to it… BUY THIS ALBUM! The Element of Suprise is hands down the Hip Hop Album of the Week. With amazing production by Confidence and Prodigy-like lyrics and messages from Rashad, this album is definitely for the record books. A debut album like this hasn’t come out of New York in a LONG time, y’all, so don’t sleep! Listen closely to what Rashad got’s to say, it’s incredible. The beats are dope, the lyrics are dope, the ALBUM IS DOPE. So, my rating…
