It’s always a good day to reach in the crate and dig out an old Jay-Z album, but what if I were to tell you that Grammy Award winning producer 9th Wonder dug in the same crate and came out with this Black American Gangster tape? You’d have no other option to believe because it’s the truth. The Harvard Fellow opens up the new year with a complete re-work of Hova’s 2007 release, American Gangster. 9th kept all the vocals, but added a taste of the soulful boom that we all know and love from him. You know if 9th has anything to do with it, it’s well worth a spin in your rotation.
