2013 was an interesting year for hip-hop. Of all the mass array of albums released, we can’t forget about the crazy collaborations that were featured both on and off those albums. Some artists – namely Kendrick Lamar – dropped verse after verse on multiple tracks and dominated the year in features. Other popular features include Chance The Rapper and Action Bronson.

Since there were so many great collab tracks this year, HHSE writer Marc decided to draw up a list and narrow down the best of the best of 2013. Check out each song after the title and be sure to comment on what your favorite collab was this year.

But first…a moment for all those collabs that were recognized…but not enough to crack the top 10. Here are the honorable mentions:

“Young, Rich, Fly and Famous”– CyHi Da Prynce (feat. Childish Gambino)

“Fragile”– Tech N9ne (feat. Kendrick Lamar & ¡Mayday!)

“Big Spender” – Theophilus London (feat. A$AP Rocky)

“Skeletons” – Joe Budden (feat. Crooked I & Joell Ortiz)
