What’s up everybody? This week was a little bumpy for hip hop. Some questionable winners of the top spot on The Hip Hop Speakeasy, but after hearing this EP by Stones Throw member, J Rocc, I knew who had to win the Hip Hop Album of the Week. J Rocc released this short EP of various beats and it was definitely one dope album. It’s very eclectic, with some jazzy sounds, some electronic, and other genres blended together to create a hip hop phenomena. I love it and think y’all should check it out ASAP.

I recommend this album to any fan of Madlib, Flying Lotus, Peanut Butter Wolf, DJ Cam or any other producers that sound like these dudes.
