Norwegian producer Ol’ Burger Beats has released his debut album High Rhodes LP, and we’re loving it. By the title you can infer that there’s a heavy reliance on the good ol’ Rhodes piano, but in addition to the smooth, jazzy sound he makes, Ol’ Burger Beats recruits emcees Quelle Chris, Choosey, Denmark Vessey and ScienZe to add poetry to these peaceful vibes. Overall, the album is very laid back and is questionably on the border of jazz and hip-hop, at times leaning more towards one than the other. Either way, the album has a very smooth, relaxing feel and has an undeniable jazz influence. If this is your cup of tea, then you can stream the album below and grab the album via iTunes or Amazon.
