Ayo ayo! We got a first here on The Hip Hop Speakeasy! We got a female winner of the Hip Hop Album of the Week. This lovely lady coming from Digi Crates Records, the 3rd winner from this record label. I don’t know about you but I think that Digi Crates Records has got some really talented performers signed on their label. Anyways, back to the album. Today, on September 21, 2010 Tiff the Gift dropped here album, Cool, Calm, Chill. It was not easy at all to decide for the Hip Hop Album of the Week (it took me hours to decide). But, after much consideration, Tiff’s smooth style and purely hip hop beats just won me over. You definitely oughta check this girl out, she’s got a lotta talent. So, my rating…

I recommend this album to any fan of female rappers doin it like they used to do it. Any fan of Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Jean Grae, or anyone else that likes these girls’ sound.
