Aight y’all. This week had the kind of hip hop I’ve been dyin to hear. 3 albums had a shot at the top spot this week as The Hip Hop Album of the Week. The Evening News EP by 1982 (Statik Selektah & Termanology) won the battle, however. This album has solid flow, real ass lyrics and an overall good vibe. This album stayed true to hip hop which is why I picked this one out of the batch. The other albums were good hip hop, but this album showcased the best hip hop talent. 1982 did a great job with the album. Straight hip hop with this one. So, my rating…
8/10
I recommed this album to any fan of straight ill-rhyming hip hop music.
