You read that title right, but it is that hard to believe? Last year, we were postin showin our concern for the decline of Talib‘s career.. now he has taken the top spot on The Hip Hop Speakeasy winning the Hip Hop Album of the Week with his new album, Gutter Rainbows. I guess the man works best alone. The production on the album was aight, it could’ve been better.. especially for Talib Kweli. However, his lyrics on this album definitely go hard. They’re very personal and true to the man. I think this is his comeback album, like the stuff he put out with The Beautiful Struggle and on Mos Def & Talib Kweli are: Black Star. I think Talib is back again and bringin the stuff his fans craved back in the day. My hat’s off to you, Talib, another great album. So, my rating…

8/10

I recommend this fan to any fan of Talib, basically, cause he’s too unique to really have any other taste for him.
