A ceremonious blend of downtempo hip hop and trip-hop outlay the sound created by the worldwide collective of instrumental hip hop producers known as Sinoptic International. Releasing their second beat tape Pure Dopeness, Vol. 2, the boundaries of trip-hop are further expanded through melancholy harmonies layered with live-sounding drums and tranquil auras. The one thing I have to say about this album is it’s like one of those nature CDs meant to relax you; it is so peaceful that it is easy to nod off to after a while, but if you do stay awake, you’ll surely experience an imaginative, musical experience full of different sounds, but one definite trip-hop style.
